Whether you can give your time, your expertise, or your financial support, there are many ways to join Live Health Foundation's work toward a healthier Charlotte. Every contribution directly supports free health screenings, nutrition education, and chronic disease prevention programs for underserved communities.
Become a Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of Live Health Foundation's community health programming. Over 180 active volunteers contributed more than 4,200 service hours in FY 2025, staffing quarterly health screenings, assisting with youth nutrition workshops, mentoring Diabetes Prevention Program participants, and supporting administrative operations. We welcome individuals of all backgrounds and experience levels — no medical training is required for most volunteer positions.
Volunteer roles include health screening event registration and intake assistants, blood pressure and BMI measurement technicians (training provided), youth nutrition education activity facilitators, data entry and program evaluation support, event coordination and logistics, and bilingual interpreter services (Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole). All volunteers receive a comprehensive orientation session, role-specific training, a Live Health Foundation volunteer identification badge, and annual volunteer appreciation recognition.

Make a Tax-Deductible Gift
As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (EIN: 27-4831056), all donations to Live Health Foundation are fully tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Your financial support directly funds free health screenings, evidence-based wellness curricula, screening supplies and clinical equipment, and community health worker salaries. We do not sell, trade, or share donor information with any third party.
Funds five complete health screenings including supplies, CHW time, and Health Summary Cards for five community members.
Sponsors one participant through the full 16-session Diabetes Prevention Workshop Series including all curriculum materials and healthy snacks.
Underwrites an entire quarterly community screening event at one location, serving approximately 200 residents with comprehensive preventive assessments.

Corporate & Institutional Partnerships
Live Health Foundation partners with businesses, healthcare systems, and institutions that share our commitment to community health equity. Corporate partners receive recognition in all program materials, annual report listings, event signage, and media communications. Partnership tiers range from $2,500 (Community Partner) to $25,000 (Presenting Sponsor) and include employee wellness screening opportunities, volunteer team-building events, and customized health education programming delivered at your workplace.
Current corporate partners include representatives from healthcare, financial services, retail, technology, legal, and manufacturing sectors.
